At least seven officers injured in Philadelphia’s Nicetown-Tioga firefight

There is an active shooter engaged with Philadelphia police as at least six law enforcement officers have been shot.

Details

• At least seven police officers have been wounded or injured with six suffering gunshot wounds and another injured in some sort of collision
• None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening
• One suspect is in custody
• At least one other active shooter is still on the loose
• Media has been instructed to pull back helicopters to prevent assailants from knowing tactical law enforcement details
• Temple University is currently on lockdown
• The gunfight started following an attempt to serve a warrant
• Four women were escorted from the house in which the shooting took place
