Another round of mass arrests happened over the weekend, this time near Presidio, Texas, as 251 illegal aliens were brought into custody. Most of them were from Central American nations.
“The significant number of arrests by Presidio Station agents is evidence that the dramatic increase in illegal entries along the southern border is impacting us locally,” Big Bend Sector Chief Patrol Agent Matthew Hudak said.
Border patrol agents for the Big Bend Sector patrol 517 miles of our southern border. Wen the agents are diverted to process and care for hundreds of migrants, much of the border that would normally be watched is essentially defenseless.
When experts look at the sources of the recent dramatic rise in the number of illegal immigrants crossing the border in the last few months, they normally attribute it to horrible conditions in Central America or a concerted effort by the left in the United States and around the world prompting the invasion. It always depends on the political disposition of the expert in question.
But one can made a valid hypothesis that it’s the forces who want to also breach our borders – drug cartels, gang members, and terrorists – who are actually behind the mass breach of our sovereignty. It would make sense; the best way to make sure nobody’s patrolling one area is to tie border patrol agents up with mass migrants to be processed.
This crisis is growing and shows no signs of stopping any time soon. It’s time for America to wake up and smell the deception.
“The volume of arrests challenges our ability to effectively patrol the border while our agents are consumed by caring for persons in our custody. I commend our agents for their professionalism and dedication in the face of these challenges.” – Matthew Hudak
With so many border patrol resources and manpower used for processing migrants, the gaps in our border security are growing. The cartels, gang members, and terrorists know this. In fact, they may be banking on it.
