It began relatively calmly, with Eugene Daniels sounding more like a Kamala campaign adviser than a Politico “journalist”–and new president of the White House Correspondents Association.
But things quickly dialed up to 11 when Tara Setmayer took over. Setmayer is an MSNBC commentator, a member of the disgraced Lincoln Project, and co-founder of The Seneca Project, whose mission is to turn out women voters for Kamala in the swing states.
Reacting to Trump having called Kamala a “bum” [not my kind of wording, admittedly], Setmayer spun a litany of charges against Trump, arguing that he is the real bum in this race.
