On Saturday, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Jim Jordan , James Comer of the Oversight and Accountability Committee and Bryan Steil , chairman of the Committee on House Administration, slapped back at Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, saying that his response to their investigation into his politically motivated efforts to indict former President Donald Trump was simply not good enough.
In a letter obtained by The Post Millennial, the congressmen said that Bragg has not disputed their central allegations that “under political pressure from left-wing activists and former prosecutors” Bragg has been “reportedly planning to use an alleged federal campaign finance violation, previously declined by federal prosecutors, as a vehicle to extend the statute of limitations on an otherwise misdemeanor offense and indict for the first time in history a former President of the United States.”
