#Enough is Enough: The left’s war on liberty and our basic human rights

From now on, we should just have a one-word answer whenever the Left tries to exploit tragedy: NO

Texas Representative Matt Schaefer spoke for every patriotic defender of liberty when he tweeted out what we are NOT going to do when it comes to the acts of criminals. Thankfully, President Trump sees the wisdom in doing something other than obsessing over background checks as reported on Real Clear Politics: Trump: Background Checks Will Not Stop Mass Shootings, “It’s A Mental Problem” 

For the most part, as strong as you make your background checks, they would not have stopped any of it. So it’s a big problem. It’s a mental problem. It’s a big problem.”

An epic series of tweets saying NO to more liberty control

In an epic series of tweets that set off the totalitarian twitters of the authoritarian socialist left, the august Representative set forth what should be the answer whenever they once again try to exploit someone else’s pain for their crass political gain.

It is time for patriots of the pro-liberty right to say NO to the ever encroaching left in attacking liberty. We don’t mete out collective punishment for other people who have certain beliefs or have certain possessions. Why is this different on the subject of self-defense?
Are we going to restrict the sales of fuel because of it’s recent use in mass murder in Japan and Mexico? Are we going to put restrictions on the sale or possession of anything that could be used to produce an edged weapon: Stone, wood, metal, plastic, ceramic, hard candy?

We know the true purpose of all the non-sense restrictions on liberty

Despite leftist use of talking points that are laughably untrue such as the ‘no one is talking about gun confiscation’ we know the true purpose of their demands.
We know that Intergalactic Background Checks are entirely useless in doing anything about societal violence. Everyone [even leftists] should know that criminals don’t obey the law, thus adding another law on top of the pile will do nothing.

We know that the true purpose of Intergalactic Background Checks [Universal, enhanced] is to set up for unconstitutional governmental control over private property as well as registration and gun confiscation. Were we to agree to this useless step, the liberty grabbers will immediately demand gun registration. In other words, obtain permission from the government to retain a God-given human right.
Studies have shown these do nothing to keep anyone safe, they are only a stepping stone to confiscation.

The true purpose of ‘Red Flag’ Gun confiscation SWATing

As was exemplified in as case where these unconstitutional abominations were used to punish someone who dares speak out against the AntiFirst Amendment [AntiFA]. These loathsome laws have two true purposes. One to begin the process of confiscating guns [while leftists all over deny anyone is confiscating guns]. Two, as a means of punishing wrongthink or speech that the Left has decided is now verboten.
Not only are these laws not needed, but they are useless for their intended purpose and have made things worse.

The true purpose of restrictions on magazine capacity.

The liberty grabber left doesn’t define the term ‘high capacity’ because it will be gradually winnowed down to zero. Magazines can be changed in a second or two, so these further restrictions on freedom serve no purpose than to be gradually decreased – first to 10, then to 5, then to one or none.

The true purpose of ‘assault weapon’ buy backs – at gunpoint

There is no definition for the phrase ‘assault weapon’, thus it can be applied to anything. The true purpose of these laws is to use the tactic of divide and conquer, in that those who don’t own these types of firearms [yet] will agree with the moderate view of the government confiscating property from someone else.

The Bottom Line – The answer to any further exploitations of tragedy: NO!!

When leftists scream that we need to ‘do something’ they really only mean one thing: Gun confiscation or its precursors. They never mention their culpability in destroying the country’s moral underpinnings. They never mention that their obsession with exploiting tragedy only encourages further tragedy. They never mention that their absurd ideas such as liberty free zones or gun confiscation will only make the situation worse – far worse. Government is by far the biggest purveyor of mass murder – after the people have been disarmed.
As JD Rucker pointed out: Opposing gun control after mass shootings is absolutely necessary. We have the facts on our side, liberty control never works and the fact is more lives are saved by guns than are taken. If the national socialist left is going to exploit every tragedy for their crass political gain, then we have to be in there with the facts to refute their lies. The cause of liberty demands nothing less.
