If there are two things that exemplify the culture in Hollywood, it’s adherence to radical progressivism and defense of sexual predators. These have been facets of the entertainment industry’s Mecca for decades. While some of the depravity has been partially exposed in recent years by the #MeToo movement, it’s still a prevalent part of what makes Hollywood tick. Sex is power, and sex with children is its revolting pinnacle in the sickest town in America.
The latest Hollywood icon to reveal himself to be morally askew is Quentin Tarantino. The Pulp Fiction director was recorded in 2003 defending fellow director Roman Polanski following his rape of a 13-year-old girl. This resurfaced in 2018 and a Tweet by our EIC brought it to my attention tonight. He was searching for someone to play Polanski in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Had I known about it, I never would have watched the movie.

I’ve been reluctant to boycott Hollywood, not because I don’t think they deserve it but because I’m a little addicted to entertainment. I’ve watched television and movies avidly my whole life, so letting it go can be very difficult. But after seeing so much hyper-leftism coming out through Hollywood stars’ Twitter accounts, non-stop videos of them virtue signaling, and the clear immoral and amoral behavior condoned by the movie industry, I can no longer contribute my hard-earned dollars to them by seeing their performances.
I’m certainly not alone. Many conservatives are well-aware of the support we’re giving to leftists with every dollar we spend on Hollywood entertainment. They’re not just Tweeting about it. Many of the dollars we pay to see movies go directly to Democratic candidates, Planned Parenthood, and other leftist organizations and politicians. It’s unfortunate there are so few in Hollywood who stand by pro-American, conservative beliefs, but it is what it is. Perhaps the distraction from reality that Hollywood offers is indicative of the break from reality progressive ideology requires.
It really can be difficult for conservatives to break free from Hollywood’s allure, but the time has come. The people driving the entertainment industry hate us, our President, and our philosophies towards life. We need to drop them immediately.
