Desperate Beto O’Rourke repeats lie that Trump called KKK members ‘very fine people’

Desperate Beto ORourke repeats lie that Trump called KKK members very fine people

A popular technique used by Nazis before and during WWII was to tell a big lie often and loudly. Their theory was if you tell the same lie over and over again, eventually it would be accepted as the truth. It’s ironic that Democrats like Beto O’Rourke are invoking this Nazi technique to tie President Trump to the KKK. It’s also quite sad as the once-high-flying progressive hero has fallen so far that he must rely on controversy just to stay relevant. His poll numbers are that bad.

His latest attempt to play the race card against anything and everyone who doesn’t agree with him has him repeating the tired old lie that has been perpetuated by mainstream media and propped up by social media. But even worse is the fact that some search engines are keeping stories accepting the false claims ranked higher than the fact check stories that debunk the claim.

Once and for all, President Trump did not call KKK members “very fine people.” During the Charlottsville protests, white supremacists were present. But also included in the crowd on the right were average citizens who were upset about the take down of American historical monuments. As the President noted and as has been verified by independent sources, these “very fine people” were among the white supremacists. It’s possible to support a goal but not hold the ideology of others who support the same goal. Just because I don’t want monuments taken down doesn’t mean I’m a white supremacist. I’m not even white.

Here is what the President actually said, with the extremely important last portion of his statement conveniently omitted from all progressive media reports. They took him out of context so blatantly and heinously because they NEED the people to believe he’s racist. Emphasis and bracketed notes have been added, since progressive media and Beto O’Rourke clearly lack reading comprehension skills.

“You had some very bad people in that group [referring to neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and KKK members]. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name… I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.”

A plain-text reading of the President’s statement make O’Rourke’s recent Tweet either the product of his own stupidity or an unambiguous bald-face lie.

There are millions of Americans who disagree with President Trump over policies. There are some people who aren’t happy with his results so far. Both of these are open for proper discourse in the form of criticism, praise, or debate. But let’s try to keep the lies to a minimum. I understand the race card is all the Democrats have left, but they should try harder to make plans that work (or embrace the GOP’s plans that are already working) instead of stooping to name-calling and promoting false narratives.

There are only two possibilities. Either Beto O’Rourke is extremely unintelligent, lacking in basic reading comprehension skills, or he is a blatant liar so desperate for attention that he’ll say anything for a headline. He needs to be pitied.

Candace Owens: ‘Leftists and Democrats don’t want to see these issues fixed in black America’

Candace Owens Leftists and Democrats dont want to see these issues fixed in black America

Speaking before Congress today, conservative activist Candace Owens detailed some of the real problems black citizens are facing in America today. She considers “white nationalism” to be a problem that wouldn’t make her top-100 list of actual issues harming African-Americans and their communities.

What she DOES consider to be huge problems include the deterioration of the family as our welfare system encourages women to remain single mothers, knowing their income from the government would be cut if they were to marry the father of their children. Gun violence is a real problem, but it’s a problem that comes back to gun control areas such as Chicago in which so many black Americans are killed by gun-wielding criminals while law abiding citizens are not allowed to protect themselves.

She looks to the education system that keeps African-American youths from receiving their proper education. And she turned to the policies of Democrats who seem to view African-Americans as a base of voters who must be exploited by indoctrinating them into the notion they’re being persecuted by white nationalists in the GOP.

Owens noted that “leftists and Democrats don’t want to see these issues fixed in black America because then they can’t stomp on those issues.”

It’s clear that Democrats spread lies intent on making minorities believe they’re the party that will help them when invariably their policies are the ones that actually oppress the masses. Marxism’s roots in racism are flourishing in leftist America.

Bill de Blasio drops out

Bill de Blasio drops out

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s short-lived presidential campaign came to an end Friday morning. He dropped his campaign that had been going nowhere from the start, hitting peak failure when he was unable to meet the criteria to attend the third Democratic debate.

On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, the Mayor declared his campaign was over.

Even NBC sent him off with a zinger:

De Blasio’s bid — launched in May — ultimately lasted just over four months and was largely mocked for most of its short life.

“I feel like I have contributed all I can to this primary election. It’s clearly not my time, so I’m going to end my presidential campaign,” de Blasio said.

There’s no need to lament or further criticize the mayor. He tried. He failed. Time to move on. The real question is which failing candidate is going to drop out next? (Please let it be Beto, please let it be Beto).

Leon Cooperman on stock market’s reaction to an Elizabeth Warren presidency

Leon Cooperman on stock market's reaction to an Elizabeth Warren presidency

Leon Cooperman knows a thing or two about the stock market. The billionaire hedge fund manager has worked the market for decades. As founder of Omega Advisors, he doesn’t just move his own money around the stock market. He invests for others as well. When it comes to the market, people listen to Leon Cooperman.

They should be listening when he discusses the prospects of a Democrat in the White House and the implications of their policies, which he noted are heading further to the left.

“The Democratic Party seems to be leaning towards the left on policies, which is very harmful for the economy. I don’t like the shift to the left,” he explained to CNBC, adding that the market, of course, will open, but it won’t be pretty.

He also said something else profound…

“It would be a bear market and they go on for a year and go down 25%,” he said. “You don’t make the poor people rich by making rich people poor.”

But the best quote pertained to one of the frontrunners directly, Elizabeth Warren.

“They won’t open the stock market if Elizabeth Warren is the next president,” he quipped.

It may not be THAT bad, but it might as well be. With the radical progressives’ push for Modern Monetary Theory, the economy as we know it would evaporate like a puddle in the desert.
