Normally, the results of these ask-the-people-on-the-street (or beach) videos are as predictable as can be. Whatever narrative the video producers want to create, they can do so simply by asking enough people and sifting through the answers to edit the final video as they want. Are young progressives really this skeptical of free universal healthcare?
Obviously some are not. But the small sampling from Will Witt at PragerU seemed to demonstrate at least a bit of critical thinking in regards to the promise of free healthcare. It was actually a bit refreshing to hear them voice concerns rather than jump on the “free stuff” bandwagon as I expected.
Medicare-for-All would be an absolute disaster, and despite this PragerU video, I’m still concerned a large chunk of American voters are going to fall for the con job.
