Actor Liam Neeson got personal in an interview with Clémence Michallon from Independent to discuss his new movie, Cold Pursuit. The resulting revelation has cast the actor into a new light that may just kill off his career.
In the interview, Neeson admits that after someone close to him was raped by a black person, he would walk through streets in hopes a black person would confront him so he could beat him to death with a cosh.

My Take
There’s a difference between feeling extreme anger towards an individual and directing that anger towards a group. If anyone did that to someone I loved and I had the opportunity to hurt them, I definitely would. There’s a good chance I would kill them.
What Neeson described is not righteous anger. It’s an anger directed at a group of people based solely on one thing: skin color. That’s racism even if it’s based on reaction to extreme emotions, in this case anger.
