Mitt Romney displayed lack of class even before President Trump was elected

Mitt Romney displayed lack of class even before President Trump was elected

It’s humorous that two moderate Republicans are going at each other while pretending to carry the conservative mantle. I know there are plenty of Trump fans who think he’s a conservative, and on a handful of issues he is, but let’s face it. He’s a fiscal “fair trade” leftist, a big-government embracing progressive on many issues, and a big proponent of obtuse gun laws like Red Flag Laws and, of course, the bump stock ban.

But, at least he’s not Mitt Romney.

The new Senator in Utah went off on the President in an attempt to secure his place as the GOP candidate should Trump fall in the next year or so. But he has a long history going after the President. At a dinner, he reportedly noted even before the President was elected that he likes foreign wives.

It’s a quote that shows no class.

Lila Rose reveals the heinous statistics about Down Syndrome abortions

Yesterday was World Down Syndrome Day, and while many celebrated the wonderful successes and challenges overcome by those with Down Syndrome as well as their families, many in the pro-life movement highlighted a disturbing trend. With our ability to identify Down Syndrome from the womb, aborting babies with the condition has become so commonplace, the Down Syndrome population is non-existent in some countries.

Live Action founder Lila Rose took to Twitter to share some of these depressing statistics, including the horrible increased frequency in which it now happens in the United States. Anyone who knows someone with Down Syndrome must acknowledge their value and the fact that their lives should not be snuffed out because the scientific community says it’s a good thing.

Every life is a gift. Every single one of them. The “humane” murder of preborn babies because of their condition is one of the most mystifying stances of the “progressive” left.

Daniel Horowitz expresses the frustration patriots are feeling every day regarding the border

One of the most frustrating hot topics in American politics today is the lunacy regarding our border crisis. Nothing is actually being done to stop or even slow the dangerous invasion that’s happening at our southern border. Democrats rail against any actions. Republicans fail to act in a meaningful way. Even the President, who has fought for border security, took some bad advice by not pressing the issue well before the Democrats won control of the House of Representatives.

Conservative commentator Daniel Horowitz expressed our level of frustration by proposing an idea that seems ridiculous on its surface. But if you stop and think about it, there’s really no difference with what he’s proposing and what’s actually happening. At least by doing it his way, the cartels won’t benefit from our unwillingness to remain a sovereign nation.

Whether it’s the Democrats waking up to the dangers of the open borders they crave, the Republicans getting some gumption do do something, or a combination of both, we need to fix the border problem immediately. This is getting ridiculous.

Ben Shapiro on a divided America

Ben Shapiro on a divided America

The extreme polarization that has taken over political discourse in our nation is clear and palatable. Notions of bipartisanship in DC or common courtesy at events have been tossed aside, replaced by vitriol so putrid, only the bravest gluttons venture forth into “enemy” territory while most stay isolated in their ideological echo chambers reaffirming their biases and remaining blind to any hint of fault in their chosen leaders.

This is a new phenomenon, at least for the modern era. It wasn’t too long ago when there were certain areas of disagreement, but even in those disagreements we could find common ground. Those days seem to be behind us.

In his new book, “”The Right Side of History: How Reason and Moral Purpose Made the West Great,” DailyWire editor-in-chief Ben Shapiro explores much of what has caused this divide. In a nation where radical progressivism has replaced common sense Democratic notions, it’s understandable how this divide has been so easily maintained with the current and previous Presidents. Shapiro points to the statistics surrounding this divide in his book:

“We’re more divided than at any time in the recent past. In July 2017, Pew Research found that 68 percent of Democrats said it was “stressful and frustrating” to talk to political opponents; 52 percent of Republicans agreed.”

You can get a copy of the book on Amazon, where it just hit #1 on the bestseller list.
