Axios is reporting tonight that President Trump has vowed to pay up to $430,000 in legal fees for some of the people currently or formerly on his staff as well as his son’s staff in regards to the Russian investigation. The report comes from two anonymous sources.
Of note is that Michael Flynn, the President’s first National Security Adviser, will not accept money from the President, the campaign, or the RNC.
The RNC has already paid the first $430,000, thus yielding the pledged number. What the President will not do is reimburse the RNC for these funds.
