The Christian organization Aid to the Church in Need (ACN UK) on Monday presented a petition to the UK government calling for more to be done to stop the “genocidal attacks” by Islamic militants on Christians in Nigeria, Christian Today (CT) reports. The ACN UK petition was delivered to Fiona Bruce MP, the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for Freedom of Religion or Belief, on the first anniversary of a massacre at a church in Owo, Nigeria, in which Islamic extremists slaughtered 41 people and wounded 80 others on Pentecost Sunday 2022, CT reports.
