On Monday, advocacy group People for Portland revealed that they had set up a giant billboard in downtown attacking failed District Attorney Mike Schmidt.
After posting about the billboard on Twitter, a number of Antifa accounts threatened to deface or even destroy it. The billboard, which is nearly the size of a four-story building, was erected at the corner of Washington Street & Southwest 2nd Avenue.
It depicts Schmidt below a list of his “accomplishments,” including record crime, fewer prosecutions, and empty jail beds. The focal point of the advertisement, however, is the catchphrase, “Portland is a Schmidt Show!”
