More babies will be saved in New York state as Planned Parenthood scales back its abortion business there. The abortion giant will close four centers and stop killing babies in late-term abortions in New York City.
The decision comes as the abortion business faces financial woes in the face of the Dobbs decision that allowed states to protect babies from abortions. Although Planned Parenthood always claimed abortion was just 3% of what it does, the abortion company is clearly losing money because it can’t sell as many abortions.
Planned Parenthood announced this week that its only Manhattan clinic would stop performing abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, a significant shift in a state that has maintained and even expanded access to abortion in the two years since the Supreme Court eliminated the constitutional right to the procedure.
