International Brotherhood of Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien praised former President Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention.
“President Trump is a candidate who is not afraid of hearing from new loud and often critical voices,” O’Brien said , per Fox News.
O’Brien’s appearance was a rare move for the Republican convention, as Democrats are typically considered more pro-union and President Joe Biden has stated that he is the “most pro-union president in history.”
The union boss further praised Trump in the wake of an assassination attempt over the weekend, saying, “He has proven to be one tough SOB.”
