“We won’t stop until victory,” said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a short, televised address on Friday. He told the Israeli people that he had rejected U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s suggestion of a humanitarian “pause” in the fighting that does not include a release of their hostages. He also says Israel “will not enable the entry of fuel to Gaza.”
He promised that victory will be “sharp and clear” and will “resonate for generations.”
