“Who controls the food supply controls the people,” said Henry Kissinger.
This first tenet of his three-steps to centralized globalist domination is manifesting before our eyes in a nation that once opposed Marxism by default. Cities across the country are toying with the concept of government-controlled grocery stores for the sake of equity, climate change, and a nutritional nanny state.
This initiative is not only being driven by Democrats in government. “Charitable” organizations and lobbyist groups are working behind the scenes to sell the concept of State-Owned Enterprises to usher in a new era they hope will yield the Socialist States of America.
And it’s not just theoretical. According to Manic Contrarian over at Red State, this threat is already manifesting…
In the heart of Chicago, a radical and socialist plan is being pushed by Mayor Brandon Johnson. This plan seeks to establish government-controlled grocery stores in areas where inflation and rampant theft have crushed private businesses, leaving residents trapped in what are being described as “food deserts.” And shockingly, or perhaps not so shockingly, other cities across the nation are contemplating following suit at the urging of advocates for so-called State Owned Enterprises.
This government-run grocery store solution may sound enticing on the surface. They promise affordable and nutritious food, support for local producers, and economic growth. But that’s just empty rhetoric. In reality, we’ll see government bureaucracy stifle innovation, diminish choice, and impose rationing measures that infringe upon our freedom to make our own decisions. Wherever government inserts its heavy hand, inefficiency and scarcity follow.
Literally everything that government touches is harmed, spoiled, or completely ruined. That’s the nature of a nation that was built on the concept of limited government but that has seen government power surge for over a century.
Government-controlled grocery stores are, unfortunately, quite easy to sell to a desperate public. We live in a time of contradiction where the vast majority of Americans do not trust government but far too many call on government to fix our problems. This is why we are stuck in a loop of government creating problems for them to be called on to fix.
The current food crisis is being camouflaged by rampant inflation. Most Americans see increased prices at the grocery store as indicative of the overarching economic challenges, but in reality the food crisis is outpacing standard inflation because the food supply itself is under attack.
What makes matters far worse is the delay between food supply challenges and their day-to-day impact at grocery stores. While food prices are clearly up by a great deal, they will go up far higher next year because the effects of supply shortages are months or even years in the making, depending on the product. Many of the foods that are sold at the grocery store today are still part of the 2022 supply. Once our diminished production starts impacting the shelves, we’re going to see prices skyrocket even more than they already have.
Now is the time to become as self-sufficient as possible. Stock up on staple foods that can be stored for the long haul. Get out of cities as quickly as possible. Start gardening at the very least. Get chickens if possible. Do whatever you can to get ahead of any food crash that may soon come. Unless things change for the better very quickly, a full-scale food crisis will come very soon, at which point government-controlled grocery stores will basically become ration distribution centers.
Controlling Protein Is One of the Globalists’ Primary Goals
Between the globalists, corporate interests, and our own government, the food supply is being targeted from multiple angles. It isn’t just silly regulations and misguided subsidies driving natural foods away. Bird flu, sabotaged food processing plants, mysterious deaths of entire cattle herds, arson attacks, and an incessant push to make climate change the primary consideration for all things are combining for a perfect storm to exacerbate the ongoing food crisis.
The primary target is protein. Specifically, they’re going after beef as the environmental boogeyman. They want us eating vegetable-based proteins, lab-grown meat, or even bugs instead of anything that walked the pastures of America. This is why we launched a long-term storage prepper beef company that provides high-quality food that’s shelf-stable for up to 25-years.
At Prepper All-Naturals, we believe Americans should be eating real food today and into the future regardless of what the powers-that-be demand of us. We will never use lab-grown beef. We will never allow our cattle to be injected with mRNA vaccines. We will never bow to the draconian diktats of the climate change cult.
Visit Prepper All-Naturals and use promo code “veterans25” to get 25% off plus free shipping on Ribeye, NY Strip, Tenderloin, and other high-quality cuts of beef. It’s cooked sous vide, then freeze dried and packaged with no other ingredients, just beef. Stock up for the long haul today.
Five Things New “Preppers” Forget When Getting Ready for Bad Times Ahead
The preparedness community is growing faster than it has in decades. Even during peak times such as Y2K, the economic downturn of 2008, and Covid, the vast majority of Americans made sure they had plenty of toilet paper but didn’t really stockpile anything else.
Things have changed. There’s a growing anxiety in this presidential election year that has prompted more Americans to get prepared for crazy events in the future. Some of it is being driven by fearmongers, but there are valid concerns with the economy, food supply, pharmaceuticals, the energy grid, and mass rioting that have pushed average Americans into “prepper” mode.
There are degrees of preparedness. One does not have to be a full-blown “doomsday prepper” living off-grid in a secure Montana bunker in order to be ahead of the curve. In many ways, preparedness isn’t about being able to perfectly handle every conceivable situation. It’s about being less dependent on government for as long as possible. Those who have proper “preps” will not be waiting for FEMA to distribute emergency supplies to the desperate masses.
Below are five things people new to preparedness (and sometimes even those with experience) often forget as they get ready. All five are common sense notions that do not rely on doomsday in order to be useful. It may be nice to own a tank during the apocalypse but there’s not much you can do with it until things get really crazy. The recommendations below can have places in the lives of average Americans whether doomsday comes or not.

Secured Wealth
Whether in the bank or held in a retirement account, most Americans feel that their life’s savings is relatively secure. At least they did until the last couple of years when de-banking, geopolitical turmoil, and the threat of Central Bank Digital Currencies reared their ugly heads.
It behooves Americans to diversify their holdings. If there’s a triggering event or series of events that cripple the financial systems or devalue the U.S. Dollar, wealth can evaporate quickly. To hedge against potential turmoil, many Americans are looking in two directions: Crypto and physical precious metals.
There are huge advantages to cryptocurrencies, but there are also inherent risks because “virtual” money can become challenging to spend. Add in the push by central banks and governments to regulate or even replace cryptocurrencies with their own versions they control and the risks amplify. There’s nothing wrong with cryptocurrencies today but things can change rapidly.
As for physical precious metals, many Americans pay cash to keep plenty on hand in their safe. Rolling over or transferring retirement accounts into self-directed IRAs is also a popular option, but there are caveats. It can often take weeks or even months to get the gold and silver shipped if the owner chooses to close their account. This is why Genesis Gold Group stands out. Their relationship with the depositories allows for rapid closure and shipping, often in less than 10 days from the time the account holder makes their move. This can come in handy if things appear to be heading south.
Lots of Potable Water
One of the biggest shocks that hit new preppers is understanding how much potable water they need in order to survive. Experts claim one gallon of water per person per day is necessary. Even the most conservative estimates put it at over half-a-gallon. That means that for a family of four, they’ll need around 120 gallons of water to survive for a month if the taps turn off and the stores empty out.
Being near a fresh water source, whether it’s a river, lake, or well, is a best practice among experienced preppers. It’s necessary to have a water filter as well, even if the taps are still working. Many refuse to drink tap water even when there is no emergency. Berkey was our previous favorite but they’re under attack from regulators so the Alexapure systems are solid replacements.
For those in the city or away from fresh water sources, storage is the best option. This can be challenging because proper water storage containers take up a lot of room and are difficult to move if the need arises. For “bug in” situations, having a larger container that stores hundreds or even thousands of gallons is better than stacking 1-5 gallon containers. Unfortunately, they won’t be easily transportable and they can cost a lot to install.
Water is critical. If chaos erupts and water infrastructure is compromised, having a large backup supply can be lifesaving.
Pharmaceuticals and Medical Supplies
There are multiple threats specific to the medical supply chain. With Chinese and Indian imports accounting for over 90% of pharmaceutical ingredients in the United States, deteriorating relations could make it impossible to get the medicines and antibiotics many of us need.
Stocking up many prescription medications can be hard. Doctors generally do not like to prescribe large batches of drugs even if they are shelf-stable for extended periods of time. It is a best practice to ask your doctor if they can prescribe a larger amount. Today, some are sympathetic to concerns about pharmacies running out or becoming inaccessible. Tell them your concerns. It’s worth a shot. The worst they can do is say no.
If your doctor is unwilling to help you stock up on medicines, then Jase Medical is a good alternative. Through telehealth, they can prescribe daily meds or antibiotics that are shipped to your door. As proponents of medical freedom, they empathize with those who want to have enough medical supplies on hand in case things go wrong.
Energy Sources
The vast majority of Americans are locked into the grid. This has proven to be a massive liability when the grid goes down. Unfortunately, there are no inexpensive remedies.
Those living off-grid had to either spend a lot of money or effort (or both) to get their alternative energy sources like solar set up. For those who do not want to go so far, it’s still a best practice to have backup power sources. Diesel generators and portable solar panels are the two most popular, and while they’re not inexpensive they are not out of reach of most Americans who are concerned about being without power for extended periods of time.
Natural gas is another necessity for many, but that’s far more challenging to replace. Having alternatives for heating and cooking that can be powered if gas and electric grids go down is important. Have a backup for items that require power such as manual can openers. If you’re stuck eating canned foods for a while and all you have is an electric opener, you’ll have problems.
Don’t Forget the Protein
When most think about “prepping,” they think about their food supply. More Americans are turning to gardening and homesteading as ways to produce their own food. Others are working with local farmers and ranchers to purchase directly from the sources. This is a good idea whether doomsday comes or not, but it’s particularly important if the food supply chain is broken.
Most grocery stores have about one to two weeks worth of food, as do most American households. Grocers rely heavily on truckers to receive their ongoing shipments. In a crisis, the current process can fail. It behooves Americans for multiple reasons to localize their food purchases as much as possible.
Long-term storage is another popular option. Canned foods, MREs, and freeze dried meals are selling out quickly even as prices rise. But one component that is conspicuously absent in shelf-stable food is high-quality protein. Most survival food companies offer low quality “protein buckets” or cans of meat, but they are often barely edible.
Prepper All-Naturals offers premium cuts of steak that have been cooked sous vide and freeze dried to give them a 25-year shelf life. They offer Ribeye, NY Strip, and Tenderloin among others.
Having buckets of beans and rice is a good start, but keeping a solid supply of high-quality protein isn’t just healthier. It can help a family maintain normalcy through crises.
Prepare Without Fear
With all the challenges we face as Americans today, it can be emotionally draining. Citizens are scared and there’s nothing irrational about their concerns. Being prepared and making lifestyle changes to secure necessities can go a long way toward overcoming the fears that plague us. We should hope and pray for the best but prepare for the worst. And if the worst does come, then knowing we did what we could to be ready for it will help us face those challenges with confidence.
Whatever government touches gets ruined. Left alone by government interference, free enterprise works just fine.
No doubt six-figure jobs with the double whammy of groceries stolen out the front door by ‘patrons’ and out the back door by the employees. The shrinkage will be almost 100%.
I just recently resigned from a 9 year stint as a Government employee and it’s all rotten to the core . DEI is the demise ….
Yes Kissinger burns in hell as we speak along with Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Castro, Pol Pot, the North Korean Kim Family and all other Communists and Communist apologists.
No government has the authority to establish a business, period. But who doesn’t care about the rule of law? Democrats, of course. Who wants to impose a Marxist state? Democrats, of course. Which party never promotes freedom and liberty? The Democrats, of course. As Mark Levin’s book title states, The Democrat Party Hates America.
No, you mean politicians. Not just Democrats.
That makes sense, that way they can charge the taxpayer to restock the stores everytime they’re looted. Great idea, except that it’s illegal. But they never stopped our Government. It’s illegal to poison your own people as well. Just think all the food will be dosed.
Come, buy our food and get vaxed.
Freeze dried beef that’s $100 a pound hardly seems like the answer to expensive groceries.
Then make your own….fins a local rancher/farmer to buy your meat from …..buy a freeze dryer and you are good to go. I have pigs, a cow, and will soon own a freeze dryer…expensive yes…but idont have to rely on govt run stores or even the regular meat supply.
Meh. Two things to consider if this happens.
First, with other stores leaving because they’re tired of being abused, the same dirtbags will simply ravage the next one. I’ve seen Walmarts in crummy neighborhoods that are filthy, disorganized, and unshoppable. They will become another victim of the same vandals and thieves.
Second, gvt can’t run anything efficiently. It will be run into the ground by competing political ambitions. Selection will suffer, the supply chain will fail, the employees will be incompetent because they’ll be hired based on anything besides competence. (Minority status, most likely.)
The idea is being pursued because democrat communities are corrupt, unsafe and intolerable. These stores will not change that, so in a few years the community will be crying for yet another alternative.
Do you think shoplifting will be treated benignly in the government food stores; assuming there’s anything there to steal, especially if Pete buttigege is in charge.
What a great idea. With government-run grocery stores, urban no-loads can walk in, fill their carts up with all their favorite foods and never worry about paying for anything. But wait….that is pretty much what they do now, isn’t it?
Dallas tried this city owned grocery store idea a few years ago in South Dallas which is notoriously a minority community. After Target, WalMart, Dollar Store and others were shop lifted out of business and closed, the city of Dallas -concerned about cries of a “food desert” bought out a boarded up former grocery store. They spend millions upgrading it and it opened about a year later with great fanfare. All the news media were there to celebrate. Only 1 1/2 years later it was very quietly closed. I wonder why?
Government run grocery stores?? That’s what happened in the former Soviet Union. How did that work out?
