Iran is being accused of delivering electromagnetic pulse (EMP) weapons to Hezbollah.
The Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) reported that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) recently delivered a shipment of so-called “qualitative weapons” to Hezbollah in Lebanon as the militant group prepares for a possible invasion by Israel.
“We might see the first active use [of an EMP weapon],” warned Raymond Burkhart, co-host of the “TruNews” podcast. “I believe that they have been used before, but the first active use of weapons in a theater of war.”
JNS accused Hezbollah of preparing to use the EMP weapons not in defense of southern Lebanon in case of a possible Israeli attack, but as weapons to be used offensively in a Hezbollah invasion of Israel’s northern Galilee region and the Golan Heights.
The JNS report claimed its source is a high-ranking official within the IRGC’s special forces unit, the Quds Force, which claimed that Tehran successfully delivered EMP weaponry capable of severely devastating Israel’s radar and communications infrastructure. […]
