Hundreds of accounts linked to terrorist group Hamas have been removed by the social media platform X, according to the company’s CEO.
“So far since the start of the conflict X has identified and removed hundreds of Hamas-affiliated accounts from the platform,” CEO Linda Yaccarino said, according to Reuters . “There is no place on X for terrorist organizations or violent extremist groups and we continue to remove such accounts in real time, including proactive efforts.”
The Palestinian terrorists launched an attack Saturday morning against Israel with rockets and ground forces, killing an estimated 1,200 people. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war following the attack.
