On Thursday, Twitter CEO Elon Musk took a shot at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) as they and other government agencies posted on the platform to celebrate “Pride Month.”
Referencing the secretive nature of the agency, Musk wrote, “I thought the CIA liked being the closet, lol.” The CIA said that their theme for Pride is “WELCO-ME,” an acronym that stands for Wellness, Equity, LGBTQ+, Community, Openness, and Me!
“Pride Month is an occasion for all of us at the Agency to pay tribute to the rich history, community, and mission contributions of our LGBTQ+ officers,” the post concluded.
