On Sunday’s edition of NBC’s Meet the Press , moderator Chuck Todd shifted blame from President Biden and the Democrat Party to the Republican Party for the crisis at the southern border which saw the largest numbers of illegal migrant crossings in American history. This is despite the fact that Biden and the Democrats did nothing to secure the southern border when they had unified control of the government during Biden’s first two years in office. Todd’s comments look even more foolish when you recall that when Trump attempted to secure funding for the wall along the southern border, the Democrat-controlled Congress fought him tooth and nail.
Speaking to Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT), Todd noted that Democrats didn’t secure the border but according to Todd, “Republicans have dirtier hands” when it comes to blame for the immigration crisis.
