A newspaper belonging to the Chinese Communist Party has cautioned Twitter CEO Elon Musk against sharing the U.S. Department of Energy’s report that the COVID-19 virus most likely originated in a Chinese laboratory.
After Musk shared reports on the U.S. government’s findings, the African American billionaire was warned by the Chinese Communist Party-controlled Global Times that he was “breaking the pot of China” for suggesting that they were culpable for the pandemic.
According to CBNC reporter Eunice Yoon, the phrase “breaking the pot” is similar to “biting the hand that feeds you.”
