Deputy Clinkunbroomer ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
Following the shooting, Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna gave a press conference in which he shared his belief that it had been a targeted shooting and asked for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspect(s).
