In the last two weeks since the massive terrorist attacks against Israel, the Pentagon has scrambled military personnel all around the world and has even told some to prepare for deployment.
According to Axios , Pentagon officials have given the official reason as “surging support to Israel,” such as giving the country more air defense and munitions.
Currently, military aircraft and warships that have gathered in the Mediterranean Sea near Israel include: Two aircraft carrier groups, the USS Gerald Ford and the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower; two amphibious Navy vessels; and F-35, F-15, F-16, and A-10 fighter jets. One other ship, the USS Carney, is in the area and intercepted three missiles over the Red Sea that had “potentially” been fired at Israel.
