(Harbinger’s Daily)—I woke up Saturday morning and was shocked to read the headline, “Israel is at war.”
This is near the anniversary of the last time Israel was officially at war, in 1973, when she was attacked by Egypt, Syria, and others. But this was a different kind of war. Thousands of rockets rained on Israel from multiple directions. Hamas gunmen invaded by land, sea, and sky, and hundreds of people were murdered and kidnapped. They were using what we might describe as ISIS-like methods.
They specifically targeted young women and young children. They launched massive, indiscriminate rocket fire toward civilian population centers, as well as terrorist infiltration of cities and settlements close to the Gaza border. They went home to home, door to door, looking for the young and the elderly. Some of the women they took as hostages were survivors of the Holocaust.
When it’s all said and done, this number tragically will only get larger. There are 700 dead and over 2,000 wounded. This is without precedent, causing the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, to say they are now at war.
Who is Hamas? They’re a terrorist organization funded by Iran. That’s not a secret. In fact, a PR person from Hamas stated that this was funded by Iran. This is something that’s an established fact.
Iran has long stated their objective, which is to destroy Israel. An Iranian leader celebrated the attacks, putting out this message: “We will stand by the Palestinian fighters until the liberation of Palestine and Jerusalem is completed.”
Iran has also signaled that they are developing a nuclear weapon. In the past, they have threatened to, in their own verbiage, wipe Israel off the face of the map.
One leader of Iran said, “Is it possible for us to witness a world without America and Zionism? But you had best know that this slogan and this goal are altogether attainable, and surely can be achieved. This regime that is occupying Jerusalem must be wiped from the map.”
It’s interesting how it always comes back to Jerusalem.
The Bible predicted 1000s of years ago that the end-times events would revolve around Jerusalem. Not Irvine. Not Los Angeles. Not Moscow. Not Paris. Jerusalem, this tiny little city, this tiny sliver of land, will play a key role in the events of the last days. It’s a focal point of end-times events.
In Zechariah 12:2-3, God says, “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”
The irony of all of this is that the Biden administration just gave $6 billion to Iran. What a bad move it is to give any money to a nation that sponsors terrorism around the world.
But here’s where it gets interesting for students of Bible prophecy. The Bible tells us in the end times that Israel would be scattered and re-gathered. This has happened. You want to talk about signs of the times; the super sign of the last days, the sign that sets the prophetic clock ticking is the regathering of the nation of Israel into its homeland.
It happened on the heels of the Holocaust. Who would have ever thought that these Jewish people, who lost 6 million of their people to the Nazis, would somehow regather in their homeland, but it happened against all odds. On May 14th, 1948, Israel became a nation. The United States was the first nation to acknowledge the State of Israel.
In Ezekiel 37 and 38, the Bible speaks of the regathering of Israel, and then it speaks of a large force from her north attacking her. That force is identified as being led by Magog.
Who is Magog? No one can say with absolute certainty. But many, many Bible students and prophecy teachers believe it’s modern-day Russia. I think you can make a very good case for that. On a map of the Middle East, look to the north of Israel, and you will find Russia.
Why would Russia ever want to invade Israel? Well, there’s another thing that the Bible says about Magog: one of the allies that will march with her is Persia, the ancient name for modern Iran.
The Bible predicted this thousands of years ago. It’s only recently that the Iranians and the Russians have developed a special connection. Not once in the past 2,500 years has Russia formed a military alliance with Iran, but they have now signed a billion-dollar accord for the sale of missiles, and the Iranians have helped the Russians by providing them with weaponized drones to use in the Ukraine war.
How do you stop something like what is happening in Israel? Some hostages are women, little children, and soldiers. It’s very tricky.
Let’s just say, for the sake of a point, if they decided to strike at Iran, specifically because of their funding of this attack, what would that produce? It could produce the conflict we read about in Ezekiel.
I’m not saying this is going to lead to the Ezekiel 38 scenario, but I’m saying it’s very interesting. If you get up in the morning and read this headline, “Russia attacks Israel,” fasten your seat belt.
You’re seeing Bible prophecy fulfilled in your lifetime, in real-time, before your very eyes.
What should we do in light of all of this?
Did Jesus say, When you see these things begin to happen, freak out because you’re dead in the water? He didn’t say that. Jesus said, “When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh” (Luke 21:28).
I’m going to ask you to join me in prayer. The Bible tells us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We want to pray that they arrive at some kind of peace. We want to pray that this horrific terrorism stops and that they’re able to get their hostages back. Even then, that is not going to replace the hundreds of lives that were lost in this unprecedented attack.

It’s becoming increasingly clear that fiat currencies across the globe, including the U.S. Dollar, are under attack. Paper money is losing its value, translating into insane inflation and less value in our life’s savings.
Genesis Gold Group believes physical precious metals are an amazing option for those seeking to move their wealth or retirement to higher ground. Whether Central Bank Digital Currencies replace current fiat currencies or not, precious metals are poised to retain or even increase in value. This is why central banks and mega-asset managers like BlackRock are moving much of their holdings to precious metals.
As a Christian company, Genesis Gold Group has maintained a perfect 5 out of 5 rating with the Better Business Bureau. Their faith-driven values allow them to help Americans protect their life’s savings without the gimmicks used by most precious metals companies. It looks to me like Iran is Magog. Not sure the reasoning behind it being Russia other than that seems to be the narrative.
Perhaps Russia is using Iran as a proxy.
Look at what the ancient “countries” were called and you’ll then understand. Magog was primarily what is now Russia.
On ancient maps what is now Russia was Magog
Regarding understanding “the time of the end”, the first thing Messiah said when asked “when shall these things be and what shall be the sign of your coming and the end of the age?”
TAKE HEED THAT NO MAN DECEIVE YOU!!!
Highlighting the importance of sound doctrine, proving all things and holding fast to that which is good or true!
Christianity has been found out long ago, as deceiving the masses of doctrines like: once saved always saved. forsaking the torah of God (romans 6:1) by refusing to keep his commandments (1John 3)
1Jn 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1Jn 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1Jn 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
Christians are not fit to lead or teach as they have forsaken God’s commandments, have no relationship with him because they refuse his covenant to keep his commandments.
If you want to understand and know the Most High God you ought to walk as he walked. You ought to pray to him and ask him to cleanse you of all unrighteousness. The end is absolutely foisted upon this generation and you will be sad if you don’t REPENT!!! What does repent mean? To turn back to God and to do this, you have to make up your mind that you’re going to do this:
Matt 19:16-17 (KJV)
And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Luke 11:27-28 (KJV)
And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed [is] the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. But he said, rather, blessed [are] they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
John 14:15-17 (KJV)
If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Don’t you know that Yeshua claimed to be the Great I am???
The one who Gave the commandments to Moshe after writing them with his own finger in a stone tablet?
Prov 3:1-7 (KJV)
My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
Eccl 12:13-14 (KJV)
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Who are you to judge millions of Christians around the world, many of whom have been fervently praying for Israel.
You go on this long, pointless rant against Christianity, while never saying one word to condemn the senseless killing of hundreds of innocent people in Israel or the kidnapping of women and children by these Hamas terrorists.
Christians are not your enemy. You clearly don’t believe that Jesus is the Messiah, but that in no way makes Christians your enemy.
Wise up and grow up. Recognize the real evil in this world.
🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
Except that Jews don’t even believe in Hell. They murdered Jesus Christ and would gladly do it again. I really wouldn’t talk about Christians too loudly. There is no such thing as Judeo/ Christian. That was a term made up by Jews to fool Christians into thinking “We’re all alike” when we’re NOT all alike. These Jews today are NOT the Hebrews of the Bible. The Hebrews were all wiped out by the wrath of God for killing his son.
NO MENTION OF PAUL’S WORK?
All references to OLD TESTAMENT? To THE JEW? What about SAUL of TARSUS and his REVELATIONS?
All irrelevant references for the GENTILES. Have you ever read the BIBLE?
This is an irreponsible use of the Scriptures. I remember a very popular book written some fifty years ago linking various happenings in the world to passages in the Bible. These have since been shown to have no connection but a wrenching of the plain text out of context. Jesus was clear that no one knows the day or the hour he will return but that Christians need to be prepared whether it occurs tomorrow or in a thousand years.
Remember how God told Israel during the Exodus that if they were unfaithful they would bring judgement on themselves. Judgement came some 800 years later. Remember the promises of blessing or curses (and exile) when Solomon completed the temple. This occured over 200 years later for the northern kingdom of Israel and over 300 years later for the southern kingdom of Judah. God’s promises are sure but his time is not our time.
You should read the scriptures first, before you start posting as an authority on them. For example, you state that it is not known when Jesus will return, when the scriptures do, in fact, tell us. God has a specific timeline for His human race, and it is outlined in the scriptures, and it’s in His feasts. Yes, Jesus is clear that we don’t know the exact day or hour, and that is in reference to the Jews and declaring the day and hour of a new moon.
You would best be served by a study of the scriptures and not regurgitating various “authorities” you’ve listened to.
Could be the Psalms 83 War
Agreed…
Psalm 83 is a prayer, not a war…
The end of the old covenant age was in the first century and not a part of the New Covenant Kingdom of God under the Lord Jesus. How do I know? Jesus said “See these stones (temple stones) not one will remain on another.” then you will know the old age has ended and the New Covenant Age of Messiah has arrived. It is sad to see death and destruction on both sides, but the Israel today is not the kingdom of God in the earth today.
The “Jews” in Israel are NOT the Hebrews of the Bibile. Open your eyes – they are WHITE European imposters that have settled in the Middle East.

Then what color was our Lord Jesus, the Lord of Glory?
Things are not as different now than the era around the mid 60’s to the mid 70’s. Tensions in the Mideast were just as hot on the heels of the Arab-Israeli War, we had a war going on in Vietnam and we had radicals bombing things and killing police officers in the USA. We survived those days and we’ll get thru these too!
No one knows what this attack will bring in terms of the “end times.” The end times began in 33AD when the Lord’s church was established as outlined in Acts chapter 2 when the first gospel sermon was preached by the apostles of the resurrected Messiah. This was prophesied in Daniel 2:44. About three thousand responded, baptized and were added to the Lord’s church by God. Matthew 16:18, Jesus promised to build His church, future tense. Acts chapter two, added to the church, past tense. Makes sense to anyone paying attention that the true, New Testament church was put into place in Acts two, on the day of Pentecost, the first Pentecost AFTER the resurrection of Jesus by God, the Father. Many “churches” have been built since then, but none of them by Jesus, and none of them at the right time and place, 33AD, right time, Jerusalem, right place, first Jewish Festival after the resurrection, Pentecost.
No “doom day prophet” of today can say what this attack on Israel means. Matt. 24 tells of the future complete destruction of Jerusalem and the Jewish temple. This has already occurred in the year 70 AD. All Jewish genealogy records were destroyed. No one today who claims to be a Jew can trace their roots back to the first century. The Jewish race was utterly destroyed in 70 AD.
If anyone wants to argue about this, you will be arguing with God, not me.
Reading the meaning of Magog, it is more accurate to believe that Magog is TURKEY. That is how it looks when you look at the geography of the world in Christ’s day compared to today. And Turkish president Erdogan hates Israel as much as Iran.
You people are sick, mentally sick.
Eschatology is big business and this makes the Church Money. Fear and guilt are far bigger tools that Jesus’s Undying Love to control you. The book of Revelation was written by John the Elder while exiled on the prison island of Patmos. Not written by John the Evangelist or Jesus’s disciple but you would never know this as the Common Church would never tell you.
This has nothing to do with the Bible folks. Did you know an actual battle was fought in Megiddo in 1918. This fits the bible way more closely than this today and you can better people thought the same thing back them. Fools and their monies will soon be parted and people will always fear monger to keep people in the pulpits.
I would contend that God is either not all powerful or uncaring. He has a poor way of showing love for his chosen people. The Holocaust, Diaspora from Rome and now this event. If he was caring would he let these things happen? He wants to punish those who moved away from him? Then he was not that caring to begin with. Think about it an all powerful being could not think of a better way to show his love than sacrificing his son. Couldn’t he just snap away these sins without killing Jesus.
I think Christianity can show people how to live good lives and have decent morals but the foundation is very shaky even on the moral nature of God.
BTW this is not my real name but I thought it would trigger some epopel
People separate themselves from God and send themselves to Hell. Adam had it all, but practically made a deal with the Devil. If only Eve are of the fruit, you would still have one of mankind still in the state of grace. All three persons are distinct persons, yet united as God. One of those persons chose to die for us to free us from Adam’s contract. God gives us free will, so we can make our own individual contracts with the Devil, which do not condemn mankind, but he can and does forgive if we want to be united. He doesn’t need our prayers, but will shake things up so we more likely will choose Him knowing there is no other pleasant afterlife, otherwise, because God is love. We have free will and done use it for great evil to others , He suffers with us. The reasons we people have to go betray His love leaves our soul in a bad place; though, for no fault of those truly ignorant of His love, if unbaptized, there is very likely a happy enough place. Where else is there? God is love. God has other things He could be doing than trying to win us back even after dying fulfilling Old Testament prophecies and rising for us. Let’s quit projecting ourselves onto Him. Maybe we suck.
You various Doomsday Cults in all three of the major Judeo-Christian regligions.
Factions of the Church want Revelation.
There is a Zionist faction that wants to rebuild Solomon’s Temple, which will bring about Armageddon
And you have the Whabbists with their 12th Imam prophecy.
Only God knows the End Times period. And yet all three of these clowns are trying to force the timeline. So typically human.
From another angle, this is part of the NWO/WEF’s “polycrisis” agenda. This is start of what will be a 9/11-level event to lock people down.
Up next:
1. Domestic terror attacks and false flags to draw America in.
2. Bioweapons (blamed on terrorists) to drive the WHO lock down.
3. Economic collapse.
4. Famine
They are putting it all on the table.
Secure your schools and places of worship. These cowards love soft targets.
All I know is perhaps it wasn’t a good idea for Israel to get involved in the Ukraine war by sending tanks to Ukraine against Russia. If you poke the bear, you’re going to get poked back. I don’t see any of this in The Revelations. I think this falls under “wars and rumors of wars” if it fits at all. Israel, it seems wants to be a U.S. proxy without any of the U.S. support. If Russia is involved at all, I would say as usual; Israel did this to themselves. Russia isn’t stupid enough to believe in anything called Judeo/Christian. Russia knows there is no such thing.
You, Daniel, are 100% correct. Israel and the tribe that shall not be criticized is never held accountable for their actions. The author mentions the Holocaust? Really? Try researching Holodomor, Mr. Author.
The author is confusing the Israel of the bible with the political nation-state created by the U.N.
Be careful with Mr Laurie: He practices Nepotism (hiring of his children for church positions) and believes that New Testament believers in Jesus Christ should “Tithe”. While it is unfortunate that far too many pastors do practice and teach the same ideas in their churches, Mr. L’s presence in social media and the internet causes concern…
Eze 38-39 is a coalition of nations led by Gog (of Magog) in their attempt to sack Israel. That is not what is happening today. The attacking coalition of nations of Eze 38-39 is Magog (Russia), Rosh (Azerbaijan), Meshech (Georgia), Tubal (Northeast Turkey), Persia (Iran), Cush (Northern Sudan), Put (Libya), Gomer (Eastern Turkey), Togarmah (Central Turkey). The nations directly surrounding Israel are not involved in Eze 38-39, namely: Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and even the Palestinians, which maybe why Israel will be caught off guard.
Eze 38-39 is coming and we can see the signs. Russia, Turkey, and Iran have created an alliance. Russia is attempting to take over eastern Ukraine (which was originally part of Magog). Libya is now beholden to Turkey (and Russia) due to their help stabilizing Libya. South Sudan (Christian) has broke away from the northern part of Sudan (Muslim).
Ps 83 is not the same event at Eze 38-39, which is a different set of nations. If Ps 83 is prophecy, it does include some of the same nations as the events happening today, but not all. The nations of Ps 83 are: Edom (Palestinians / Southern Jordan), Ishmaelites (Northern Saudi Arabia), Moab (Palestinians / Central Jordan), Hagrites (Egypt), Gebal (Northern/Central Lebanon – Hezbollah), Ammon (Palestinians / Central Jordan), Amalek (Sinai – Egypt), Philistia (Gaza – Hamas), Tyre (Southern Lebanon – Hezbollah), Assyria (Syria / Northern Iraq).
So happens I spent some time looking into Gog and Magog the night before the attack. I was watching “strange evidence” and they were talking about methane hydrate, which reminded me of the prophecies of raining hail and fire, and so in reading about those I ended up in Ezekiel 38, and looking at maps. I believe Magog is generally understood to have been in the region north and northeast of the black sea, in what is now south and eastern Ukraine, and eastward into Russia. It is where Magog the son of Japheth, the son of Noah settled. Ezekiel 38 indicates that Magog is to the north (verse 15). If you draw a line from Jerusalem directly north it runs directly through this area, just east of the Crimean peninsula, and on up just west of Moscow. I don’t know what it all means, just throwing out the info for those who asked.
