A shooting at a Juneteenth celebration in the Chicago suburb of Willowbrook, Ill., left one person dead and 20 people injured early Sunday morning, officials said.
A DuPage County Sheriff’s Office official said 20 people were shot and one person was fatally shot, per multiple local reports .
“It was supposed to be like a Juneteenth celebration; we just started hearing shooting, so we dropped down until they stopped. They just kept going.
