Former Cal Poly track and field star Shelby Daniele has died suddenly at 23—just months after celebrating her hard-earned master’s degree from the university.
Daniele, who shattered Cal Poly’s indoor 200m record last year with an impressive time of 24.69 seconds, dedicated five years of her life to competing for the Mustangs from 2020 to 2024.
During her tenure at California Polytechnic State University, this remarkable athlete earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture in 2023, before going on to secure her master’s in June. Yet, shockingly, just over three months later, the university announced the devastating news of Daniele’s death.
“Cal Poly Athletics was deeply saddened to learn of the recent passing of former Cal Poly student-athlete Shelby Daniele.”

It’s been a while since we highlighted a case of a young and otherwise healthy athlete dying suddenly, but as Pandemic Panic Theater ramps back up with calls for more Covid boosters, it’s important to remind everyone that this continues to happen.
As is almost always the case, the cause of death has not been released.
It’s becoming increasingly clear that fiat currencies across the globe, including the U.S. Dollar, are under attack. Paper money is losing its value, translating into insane inflation and less value in our life’s savings.
Genesis Gold Group believes physical precious metals are an amazing option for those seeking to move their wealth or retirement to higher ground. Whether Central Bank Digital Currencies replace current fiat currencies or not, precious metals are poised to retain or even increase in value. This is why central banks and mega-asset managers like BlackRock are moving much of their holdings to precious metals.
