In a recent press release , Planned Parenthood of Greater New York offered its approval for the removal of the street sign, Margaret Sanger Square, near its notorious Manhattan location.
The founder of Planned Parenthood, Sanger was a known promoter of eugenics. While the abortion giant spent years honoring its leader, it is only recently that it has decided that it needs to break ties because of Sanger’s her racist and eugenic views — presumably because the optics don’t look good. But actions speak louder than words. While Planned Parenthood now says it wants nothing to do with Sanger’s tainted legacy, nothing can erase the fact that the abortion giant was founded with a racist agenda and continues today as it always has, endangering women and taking the lives of innocent children.
In 1939, Sanger spearheaded an initiative known as the “Negro Project,” in which she hoped to use Black physicians and ministers to promote the use of birth control within their communities.
