President says AOC ‘fuming’ that Tlaib, Omar are becoming the faces of the party

President says AOC fuming that Tlaib Omar are becoming the faces of the party

President Trump took to Twitter to make fun of the opposition party as two of its most outspoken members, Representatives Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, continue making headlines and stirring up controversy. He even threw in an accusation against Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for good measure.

There are no indications that this is accurate, but that’s not the point. This isn’t hard policy or thoughtful analysis. It’s a petty jab, and while many Americans, including some of his fans, are against him taking shots at the opposition in such a manner, this is the society we live in and it includes a President who takes jabs on Twitter. You can stress over it or sit back and enjoy it. I choose the latter.

For AOC’s part, she took the jab with a chuckle.

Beyond the diversion this offers ahead of a weekend, reality is probably more closely reflected by the President’s Tweet than Democrats are comfortable admitting, at least the part about them being the face of the party. “The Squad” makes more headlines among the four of them than the rest of the Democrats combined, and this includes the powerful heads of committees who are actively investigating President Trump ahead of a possible impeachment.

Both Democrats and Republicans have different degrees of infatuation with “The Squad.” Are they a real threat to our republic, as many on both sides claim, or are they merely a diversion from real decisions being made in DC?

Candace Owens: ‘Leftists and Democrats don’t want to see these issues fixed in black America’

Candace Owens Leftists and Democrats dont want to see these issues fixed in black America

Speaking before Congress today, conservative activist Candace Owens detailed some of the real problems black citizens are facing in America today. She considers “white nationalism” to be a problem that wouldn’t make her top-100 list of actual issues harming African-Americans and their communities.

What she DOES consider to be huge problems include the deterioration of the family as our welfare system encourages women to remain single mothers, knowing their income from the government would be cut if they were to marry the father of their children. Gun violence is a real problem, but it’s a problem that comes back to gun control areas such as Chicago in which so many black Americans are killed by gun-wielding criminals while law abiding citizens are not allowed to protect themselves.

She looks to the education system that keeps African-American youths from receiving their proper education. And she turned to the policies of Democrats who seem to view African-Americans as a base of voters who must be exploited by indoctrinating them into the notion they’re being persecuted by white nationalists in the GOP.

Owens noted that “leftists and Democrats don’t want to see these issues fixed in black America because then they can’t stomp on those issues.”

It’s clear that Democrats spread lies intent on making minorities believe they’re the party that will help them when invariably their policies are the ones that actually oppress the masses. Marxism’s roots in racism are flourishing in leftist America.

Bill de Blasio drops out

Bill de Blasio drops out

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s short-lived presidential campaign came to an end Friday morning. He dropped his campaign that had been going nowhere from the start, hitting peak failure when he was unable to meet the criteria to attend the third Democratic debate.

On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, the Mayor declared his campaign was over.

Even NBC sent him off with a zinger:

De Blasio’s bid — launched in May — ultimately lasted just over four months and was largely mocked for most of its short life.

“I feel like I have contributed all I can to this primary election. It’s clearly not my time, so I’m going to end my presidential campaign,” de Blasio said.

There’s no need to lament or further criticize the mayor. He tried. He failed. Time to move on. The real question is which failing candidate is going to drop out next? (Please let it be Beto, please let it be Beto).

Leon Cooperman on stock market’s reaction to an Elizabeth Warren presidency

Leon Cooperman on stock market's reaction to an Elizabeth Warren presidency

Leon Cooperman knows a thing or two about the stock market. The billionaire hedge fund manager has worked the market for decades. As founder of Omega Advisors, he doesn’t just move his own money around the stock market. He invests for others as well. When it comes to the market, people listen to Leon Cooperman.

They should be listening when he discusses the prospects of a Democrat in the White House and the implications of their policies, which he noted are heading further to the left.

“The Democratic Party seems to be leaning towards the left on policies, which is very harmful for the economy. I don’t like the shift to the left,” he explained to CNBC, adding that the market, of course, will open, but it won’t be pretty.

He also said something else profound…

“It would be a bear market and they go on for a year and go down 25%,” he said. “You don’t make the poor people rich by making rich people poor.”

But the best quote pertained to one of the frontrunners directly, Elizabeth Warren.

“They won’t open the stock market if Elizabeth Warren is the next president,” he quipped.

It may not be THAT bad, but it might as well be. With the radical progressives’ push for Modern Monetary Theory, the economy as we know it would evaporate like a puddle in the desert.
