The video above reveals several things about Georgia state representative Erica Thomas and the man who called her a “lazy bitch,” Eric Sparkes. It reveals Sparkes made a very poor choice in confronting a 9-months pregnant woman over her use of the express lane, but more importantly it reveals the lies compounding previous lies by a Democratic politician who wanted to attract national attention through her falsified use of the victim card.
According to Thomas, she was verbally assaulted by a racist “white man” who invoked the phrase “go back where you came from,” echoing a variation of the phrase President Trump used on Twitter a week ago in reference to “The Squad” of first term Democratic Congresswomen. The implications were obvious – whoever it was that said vile things to Thomas was a bigoted Caucasian and almost certainly a Trump supporter. The only thing that could spoil the string of lies and block her path to the progressive-adored status of victimhood was if the man who berated her came forward.
That man was Eric Sparkes, and come forward he did. As a result, Thomas’s narrative broke down quickly. First, he admitted to calling her a “lazy _____” but vehemently denied telling her to go back where she came from. He was so offended by her claims because she called him a racist who echoed President Trump’s message. That didn’t sit well with Sparkes, a man of Cuban descent and a Trump-hating Democrat.
Thomas’s narrative, echoed by thousands of progressives and several Democratic lawmakers, turned out to be completely false. Instead of the vision of a white supremacist Trump-supporter attacking an African-American woman over race, we have an unhinged Democrat calling a 9-month pregnant woman a “lazy _____” for having too many items in the express lane.
One might think this is the point when Thomas accepts an apology and lets the incident fade away. But… no. She’s doubling down, changing her story slightly and ignoring the likelihood that the man who insulted her voted for her.
"I don't want to say he said go back to your country or go back to where you came from but he was making those types of references" already changed it ??? https://t.co/2WPggATLtR

This woman, Erica Thomas is actually an embarrassment.
She's complaining about a situation in 2018, then again about the supermarket showdown.
Jussie Smollett mailed himself a letter, which got no attention. He needed the attention, so he paid two men then beat himself up. https://t.co/N2o61uoJ4p

Oh shocking. He didn’t tell her to go back to where she came from. The truth is finally emerging. pic.twitter.com/mCu7aY6XSd

The worst part is that even after acknowledging Sparkes didn’t say anything racist to her, she’s still claiming racism. Calling someone a “lazy _____” is not a racist attack. It’s callous and pathetic to use the phrase against a 9-month pregnant woman over the use of the express lane at a grocery store, but it’s not racist just because the victim was African-American.
Democrats and legacy media continue to push the hoax about the white supremacist Trump-supporter described by Erica Thomas. But the guy who called her names is a Trump-hating Democrat. The self-loathing of the left hits ludicrous speed sometimes.
