That is our modern milieu. Nothing is sacred. History is a lie to be erased. We are the first generation with purity of thought.
Does that sound like what you see going on around you these days? The budding geniuses of the political left are fully capable of reinventing our society.
But first they have to take away our identity. Nothing that has happened in the world until now makes any difference. All the great men and women we have ever honored were actually derelicts.
I refuse to find out what songs Kate Smith may have sung that some find offensive. Nor am I going to read about what they’re doing now to discredit her memory. I will continue remembering her rendition of God Bless America! It was before I was born but I have heard recordings of it and it is from an era when patriotism was still in style.
Not long ago, the big deal was demolishing statues of Confederate Generals. There is a reason that the citizenship of Robert E. Lee was restored after the Civil War. Reuniting America was more important than revenge and retribution.
Having been an alert teenager during the Cuban Missile Crisis and assassination of President John F. Kennedy, I will not listen to people who smear his legacy now.
There is also an attempt to retroactively discredit former Hawaii Senator Daniel K. Inouye. He was a Democrat and I disagreed with him on a lot of things. But he kept Hawaii on the map in the U.S. Senate. Moreover he was a war hero who gave his right arm in combat during World War II in Europe. Personally, I will have none of the smears against a man who is no longer here to defend himself.
I’m sure more is coming. There will probably be a scandal to portray Ronald Reagan as a misanthrope. Maybe they’ll even go after Mother Teresa of all people. This is an age of anti-heroes where good people conflict with the modern narrative.
It’s perhaps relevant that leftists are so much in awe of Islam. Whenever Muslims conquer a non-Muslim society, they immediately destroy all edifices and artifacts of what was there before. You can query the Arabic word “jahiliyyah” for more on that. A church can become a mosque but a mosque can never become a church.
It is obviously not a conscious emulation by American leftists of Islamic dogma. But the same negative supernatural forces are behind both. The devil does not want us to know who we are or where we came from.
Nothing is held sacred in America anymore. We no longer care about the Pilgrims and the Puritans. Who the hell was Johnny Appleseed? Covered wagon trains headed west and the Pony Express to deliver the mail are no longer in our current lingo.
Apparently, we were all just born yesterday. It will be years before we can even choose our own gender. We are just helpless infants sucking the Democrat teat. We would die of malnourishment if left to fend for ourselves.
Or, so they would have us believe! 2020 could very well be the last free election we have to reject this reprogramming of America! Vote wisely!
