As our EIC discussed in the past, headlines can be used to promote propaganda even if the body of the article isn’t necessarily as biased as the headline. This phenomenon is very clear with CNN, who will use language to paint leftist ideas as credible while casting doubt on their conservative counterparts.
For example:

As Campus Reform news editor Jon Street noted, the way CNN handled the initial Jussie Smollett report versus how they handled a recent report of an attack on a conservative at Berkeley couldn’t be more different. In the Smollett instance, they didn’t indicate that the attack was alleged even though there was no evidence that it occurred and they jumped straight to questions of it being a hate crime. In the Berkeley attack, they label it as “alleged” even though there are several videos corroborating the report and at no time did they call this hate crime a hate crime.
If the political ideologies of those involved in each incident were reversed, the headlines would have been much different. That’s because CNN is unabashedly aligned with the left, hateful towards conservatives, and supportive of anyone who espouses a leftist ideology. This can only be disputed by those with an agenda to pretend like CNN is unbiased. For everyone else, the bias is clear.
At NOQ Report, we’re biased. We admit it. We even explain why this is the case.
CNN pretends to be unbiased. Their reporters say they’re on the side of truth, but crystal clear evidence to the contrary, like the evidence on display here, will not deter them from perpetuating their false narrative.
