Celebrities have collective meltdown after Senate passes tax reform: ‘It’s the end of America’

Now that the Republicans have passed tax reform in the Senate, it will head back to the House where a unity bill will be crafted and passed. Then President Trump will sign it. It’s almost a sure thing now that it will go through and the Obamacare individual mandate will be repealed. Corporate taxes will also be reduced and the standard deduction will be doubled. It’s not perfect, but it’s a hell of a lot better than what we have now. I would have preferred a flat tax, but I’ll take what I can get these days. Ted Cruz’s tax solution that would have put filing on a postcard and axed much of the IRS would have been much better, but this is a start.

Cue the ensuing liberal meltdown. The Hollywood crowd could not wait to jump on the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act today. According to them, it’s the end of America and possibly the world as we know it (and I feel fine). Smirk. Every time that we cut taxes in this country, these moronic celebrities come unhinged, crying that it will bankrupt us and kill the country. And every time we cut taxes, we thrive and wind up cutting the debt. See Ronald Reagan. Let’s see… what’s the definition of insanity? Doing the same Marxist thing over and over. They’ve got it down pat.

Chelsea Handler called the passage of the GOP-led bill “sickening.” Actually, anytime a has been like Handler says how sick she is of what Republicans are doing, I figure they should do it more. Logic. “What Republicans did last night to the poor and middle class in this country to reward huge corporations and the very wealthy is sickening,” she wrote. “So, for all the religious beliefs you hold, rewarding the people who fund your campaigns must be somewhere in the Bible.” You do get that big and small businesses are the ones that create jobs in this country, right? Jobs that help Americans go back to work to put food on the table, a roof over their heads and clothes on their backs. Jobs that help Americans and the nation prosper. Celebrities, for the most part, do not understand basic economics and Handler is a prime example of that. Seek and ye shall find, Chelsea… please see the Keynes vs. Hayek videos below.

Others chimed in. Actor Josh Gad (who?) called the bill’s passage “one of the most disgraceful acts in modern political history.” Only if you are a commie progressive. The tax reform bill passed along party lines 51 to 49. The only Republican to defect was Corker. Why am I not surprised? Just switch to the Democratic Party already and be done with it.

From Breitbart News’ Sean Moran:

The Senate bill retains the current income tax system’s seven brackets, while the House version collapses the seven brackets into four. The wealthiest Americans would have their income tax fall to 38.5 percent, while the lowest tax bracket will fall to ten percent. Similar to the House tax bill, the Senate version will double the standard deduction for individuals to $12,000, and $24,000 for married couples. The Senate bill also raises the child tax credit from $1,000 per child to $1,650.

Michael Moore, of course, chimed in to throw his ‘weight’ around. He said the Senate bill is akin to “fascism” and said, “the coup is underway” and said, “the Republican Party is the enemy of the American people.” He’s calling for a violent revolution – cutting taxes is just too capitalistic for the simpering piggish commie. Sorry, but I’ve just about had enough of this ‘eat the rich’ crap. Especially by wealthy Marxists who are so hypocritical, it boggles the mind. I would quote Cher, but she’s drunk tweeting again and is basically incoherent. The mask is finally off, they are pushing Democratic Socialists of America big time. Hollywood has gone from glitter to red in no time flat. My favorite is from Patton Oswalt. I have no idea who he is, but he’s apocalyptic: “This is the sloppy, handwritten, first scroll of the apocalypse. Goodbye America.” My soul’s good, how’s yours, Patton?

Some of these heathens even tried quoting the Bible and Jesus. They have no idea what they are talking about, but they figure that will leave a mark. Blasphemy doesn’t really phase conservatives, so sorry guys. Better luck next time. The left is claiming we are in The Book of Deplorables. I am not Trump’s number one fan, but I’m always for cutting taxes and ticking off communists. Nice of them to lump us all together. I think they are saying we killed America AND Jesus with this bill. Impressive insanity on their part.

Excuse me if I don’t partake of the Chelsea Handler bible study group. I actually value my soul and love the Lord, so you won’t see me there. If passing tax reform causes this much angst on the left, we must be doing something right. Imagine if we had gone to a flat tax. All of Hollywood would have probably collectively died of a stroke. What could have been? Sigh.
