I have a ton of respect for the Libertarian Party and John Stossel. Both fight for the freedoms of Americans. I don’t agree with everything they stand for, including open borders and abortion rights, but they’re better than the two major parties. Had I not found the Federalist Party, I’d probably be a Libertarian today.
One person they have on their roster is Lily Tang Williams. Her story is one that should inspire all Americans, particularly immigrants, because she has had the opportunity to participate in government despite being raised in communist China. She made it to the debates in a Colorado Senate race last year and received 100,000 votes. Not too shabby for someone who was indoctrinated under the Mao regime.
When communism was first implemented 100 years ago, people were excited. Western academics and media figures at places like the New York Times praised the ideology even as millions starved. The praise continued even as communist leaders murdered political opponents.
