Who can take New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio seriously at this point? The mayor of the world’s financial center left his city in the midst of a police officer’s assassination to join violent anti-capitalist protesters in Hamburg, Germany at the G20 summit.
The mayor left his own city in a hurry, skipping a NYPD swearing-in ceremony to catch his flight.
NYC homelessness is up 40%, police officer executed, @BilldeBlasio jets to German to cheer on fascists. #Priorities https://t.co/wuaxWd6E9d

CNN reported that over 150 officers were injured in the protests. It’s always been obvious that de Blasio doesn’t care about police, in fact he considers them some kind of enemy of human rights. The mayor is expected to deliver the keynote speech at a “human rights and democracy” rally, which will certainly be a polemic against President Donald Trump.
De Blasio is an embarrassment to his city. How can anyone take him seriously about terrorism, human rights, or the needs of a city of 8.4 million residents when he misuses his platform and his office to engage in this kind of hooliganism?
Bill de Blasio is a disgrace to the city he represents and @NYPDnews and New York deserves better leadership than this. pic.twitter.com/YHqKPr7Cna

He should resign in shame. But of course, he won’t. Liberals will rally around him because he opposes Trump.
One bright star: de Blasio is up for election. This certainly won’t help.
