A media feed of Joe Biden rambling about the need for more diversity following a meeting with national union leaders cut out in bizarre fashion on Wednesday. The event, which took place at the AFL-CIO Headquarters in Washington, D.C., was Biden’s latest attempt to salvage his presidential campaign as more and more Democrats and their allies call on him to drop out.
Biden’s cognitive decline was on full display at the end of his speech when another speaker mentioned Biden having “the most diverse cabinet in history.” Footage of the event shows the 81-year-old grab the microphone back and start shouting that he wants “more minorities, more women, more labour,” as the camera suddenly begins spinning around the room.
“I’m serious, think about it. That’s who we are; that’s why we’re strong. We’re diverse, we’re strong, we gotta stop looking at it like it’s a problem; it’s an asset,” Biden shouts before the feed suddenly cuts off. […]
