The US Embassy in Brazil broadcast a video urging Americans to use gender neutral pronouns.
“Making incorrect assumptions about someone’s gender – that’s a micro-aggression. That could be hurtful for individuals who identify with certain communities – such as transgender or queer communities,” said Embassy spokesman “Mark” — who uses the he/him pronouns.
