If Joe Biden drops out of the race before the Democratic National Convention in August, Kamala Harris will almost certainly be the one to replace him atop the ticket.
Harris is the only candidate who could inherit Biden’s $250 million war chest, per campaign financing laws. The party would also struggle to justify bypassing a woman of color in favor of a white candidate.
Donald Trump appeared on The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show on Friday to discuss the possibility of facing Harris, not Biden.
