GOP frontrunner President Donald Trump took aim at the Biden administration’s rush to war during his speech in Erie, PA on Saturday.
“Congress should immediately vote to block Joe Biden’s recent call-up of reserve forces,” he said, noting the recent call-up of reserves by the Biden administration. Earlier in July, Biden called up military reserve units to deploy to active duty in Europe in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The Pentagon later approved hazard pay for troops stationed in Ukraine, backdating that to April 2023. The amount is up to an additional $225 per month.
