Iowa GOP Attorney General Brenna Bird asked Scott if there was a “special lady” in his life besides his mom.
“I’m dating a lovely Christian girl,” the South Carolina senator answered, according to Fox News . “One of the things that I love about the gospel of Jesus Christ is that it points us always in the right direction. Proverbs 18:22 says ‘he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the lord.’”
