Robert F. Kennedy Jr. indicated that he is open to running for president in 2024 as the candidate of the Libertarian Party as he continues the work of getting on the ballot in as many states as possible by the November election.
He was asked on the CNN Saturday morning show “ Smerconish ,” hosted by Michael Smerconish, if he might seek the Libertarian Party nomination, according to The Hill . He is currently running as an independent.
“That is something that we’re looking at,” Kennedy replied. “We have a really good relationship with the Libertarian Party. I’m going to be speaking at the California Libertarian Party convention. I think it’s next week or maybe in a couple of weeks. And, we’re talking about me speaking in New York.”
