Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., was met with hecklers during a town hall earlier this week over the state’s migrant crisis.
While Ocasio-Cortez was discussing policies such as the Green New Deal in Queens on Thursday, two hecklers interrupted her and said she cared more about illegal immigrants than her constituents, according to Fox News.
One of the hecklers announced that he was going to run against her for her congressional seat. He also spoke out against the Green New Deal.
“My name is Jonathan David Rinaldi, and I’m running for Congress against AOC.
