Poll: Majority of Voters Believe Randos From the Street Would Be Better Than Corrupt Members of Congress

According to a Rasmussen poll , 54% of likely United States voters believe that a group of people randomly selected from the phone book would do a better job tackling the nation’s problems than the current Congress. 27% of voters disagree and do not believe a randomly selected group of individuals could do a better job.

Only 20% believe the average member of Congress listens most to the voters he represents. 67% believe they listen mostly to party leaders in Congress. 12% are unsure.
