Over a dozen Nimarata ‘Nikki’ Haley supporters, including former Women for Haley coalition members and the neoconservative’s state leadership teams, met with Joe Biden campaign deputy political director Juan Peñalosa on Wednesday.
Haley is declining to endorse Trump or actively campaign against Biden, and despite officially dropping out of the GOP race, she continues to schmooze donors. Mitti Randhawa, Haley‘s brother, has suggested her supporters intend to mount a final coup attempt against Trump on the floor of the Republican National Convention in mid-July.
