In an interview with the Daily Mail , 24-year-old Kiara Duprey said her eight-month-old daughter Arianna is “beautiful no matter what” and can now sit up and hold a bottle by herself. Duprey and her husband, 21-year-old Javier Floreniani, were told at 12 weeks that their child’s limbs were not developing normally. Doctors originally assumed she had Roberts syndrome and would not make it to term, but instead, she was diagnosed with transverse limb deficiency.
“They thought she would mostly likely die and be stillborn,” Duprey told the outlet. “Right away I was asked if I wanted to terminate.”
