A female ‘migrant’ was killed when a gunman on a moped opened fire upon a group celebrating Venezuela’s elections outside a shelter for illegals in New York City this week, according to reports.
On Wednesday, the New York Police Department (NYPD) announced a reward for information about the shooting, which claimed the life of a Venezuelan woman and left two more injured.
Authorities say a group of around 50 revelers were gathered in a lot near the infamous Randall’s Island shelter at around 3:30 a.m. on Monday morning when a male suspect pulled up on a moped and began shooting, striking three victims.
“Officers found a woman who was shot in the face and back, whom the NYPD identified as Sandra Serrano, 44. She was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital. A 31-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were also injured,” Gothamist reports, citing police. […]
