MSNBC anchor Mehdi Hasan has announced his departure from the network. The announcement was made during the final episode of his axed show on Sunday.
It was initially stated that despite his show’s cancelation, Hasan would remain as an analyst and fill-in host at MSNBC. However, Hasan’s airtime was noticeably reduced in the months following the October 7th terror raid on Israel by Hamas.
In the wake of those attacks, Hasan has amplified Hamas propaganda on social media, sharing posts speaking of the “utter desperation of [G]aza [P]alestinians, with many seeing no options for their future but the launch of a suicidal war,” and complaining “the scale of Israeli war crimes in Gaza is likely to exceed anything we have seen before.”
