Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) just admitted that the Democrat plan should Donald Trump win a second term in the White House this fall is to basically remove him via the U.S. Constitution.
The contingency plan involves the invocation of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, also known as the “Insurrection Clause,” which disqualifies former government officials from holding office if they engaged in an “insurrection” after taking an oath to support the Constitution.
The Democrats claim that Trump sparked the events of Jan. 6, 2021, which resulted in hordes of people flooding the U.S. Capitol and wreaking havoc. Those hordes were deemed to have committed “insurrection” by the left – and since Trump is said to have led them in doing what they did, he, too, is a target for elimination.
Rep. Raskin says that invoking Sec. 3 of the 14th Amendment on Jan. 6, 2025, to prevent Trump from taking office “could lead to civil war,” which is why he wants Democratic members of Congress to be given bodyguards. […]
