In just the last week, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have arrested numerous illegal aliens with open warrants, many of them wanted for violent crimes such as sexual assault and murder.
According to Just The News , many of these arrests took place far into the interior of the United States, thousands of miles from the southern border. Several of the more recent arrests involved suspects from Bosnia, Eritrea, and Guatemala.
On August 8th, ICE’s Chicago division of Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) arrested a Bosnian who was in the country illegally and wanted for second-degree murder. His warrant had been issued by the District Court of Wyandotte County, Kansas. The suspect was identified by the deportation officer assigned to the U.S. Marshals Service’s Kansas Fugitive Apprehension Task Force (KFATF), along with Kansas City Crime Stoppers.
