Fox News is once again misleading its viewers, airing false 2024 Republican presidential primary poll results. The network’s mid-day news program America Reports, hosted by John Roberts and Sandra Smith, this week aired graphics that reversed recent New Hampshire and South Carolina primary polling results for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.
The false Fox News numbers showed DeSantis ahead of Haley in both a recent USA Today/Suffolk New Hampshire poll and a CNN South Carolina poll . Haley, according to the actual poll results, holds second place in both state primary contests – with her support at 19 percent and 22 percent respectively. Governor DeSantis has slipped to third place in both state primary contests.
